MOSSEL BAY NEWS - KwaNonqaba Police have arrested one person in connection with a Herbertsdale house robbery and two men for a house robbery in KwaNonqaba.
The Herbertsdale house robbery took place on 13 April. A 36-year-old man has been arrested.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies said a couple were in their home, when an armed man entered the house at about 05:00.
Spies said the gunman allegedly threatened the couple and then fled the house with a cellphone and food.
The couple, who were not injured during the incident, reported the matter and the alleged robber was arrested days after the incident.
Spies said the suspect was sche-duled to appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court, however, the date of his appearance and the outcome was not known at the time of publishing.
Two men have been arrested in connection with the house robbery in Makhubalo Street, KwaNonqaba, on 18 April at about 20:00.
Spies said it is alleged that two men armed with a knife and pepper spray, entered the Makhubalo Street home, threatening and assaulting the resident inside the house.
He said the pair allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of cash, a grass cutter and a wallet before they fled the scene. Two men, aged 20 and 25, were arrested a few days after the incident.
They were expected to appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court this week, however, the date and the outcome of their court appearance was not known at the time of publishing.
