MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Police's junior commissioner team were recently elected.
The elections were held at the station on 3 June, with the candidates elected from Global Academy of Education and Point High School.
The junior commissioners are the eyes and ears of the Mossel Bay Police in their schools and will shadow the station's head of detectives, head of visible policing (vispol), support head and the station commander.
Global Academy of Education's Anelisa Radebe was elected as the junior station commander, while Bandile Shange, also from Global Academy, was elected as the junior vispol commander.
Point High School's Arno Smit is the junior support head and Rymandu van Wyk of Point High School is the junior head of the detective branch.
