MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Aphelele Kanuka, the man charged with the 2024 murder of Asla Park resident Jason-Kirk Damon (23), is set to be sentenced on 23 March.
Kanuka pleaded guilty to the murder in December last year.
Damon was fatally stabbed outside a shop in Dube Street, Asla Park, just after 08:00 on 17 November 2024.
He had celebrated his 23rd birthday just a week before. He was rushed to the Mossel Bay Hospital, where he died from his injuries later that day.
Kanuka was arrested in connection with the murder shortly after the incident.
