MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A small business in KwaNonqaba had an unfortunate start to 2026 when the owner and his son were robbed just 30 minutes into the New Year.
KwaNonqaba Police Station spokesperson Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp two suspects, wielding pangas entered a small shop on Mabolo Street at 00:30.
Kapp said the owner sustained minor injuries to his left hand and an undisclosed amount of cash, cigarettes and cellphones were stolen.
One of the suspects, a 31-year-old man, was arrested yesterday afternoon and is expected to appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on Monday, 5 January.
The second suspect is still at large.
