MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Late yesterday afternoon, as locals were scurrying to get home before the 21 day lockdown started at midnight, 26 March, the homeless were transported to the Department of Social Development by local police.
A local businessman gave the group shelter at the Shark Shack backpackers in Marsh Street. He chose not to be named.
Upon enquiry he said that he is not yet sure how long the group will be staying and what other resources will be needed to accommodate them. “We will address the situation later,” he commented.
