MOSSELBAAI NUUS - Daar was vroeër vandag, 23 Maart, 'n sterk polisie- en wetstoepassingteenwoordigheid in die omgewing van Diasstrand ná 'n vrou glo van haar handsak beroof is.
Mosselbaai-munisipaliteit het 'n verklaring uitgereik na afloop van die voorval waarin verskeie rolspelers betrokke was.
Volgens die munisipale verklaring is 'n verdagte met gesteelde goedere in sy besit gearresteer. 'n Soektog na 'n tweede verdagte duur nog voort.
Mossel Bay Advertiser wag nog op amptelike terugvoering van die polisie.

Da Gamaskop police are investigating a robbery case after an adult woman was robbed on Sunday, 23 March 2025 at about 13:00.
According to reports available at this stage, the woman was accosted by a man in the vicinity of Louis Fourie Road. The man took her handbag with some personal belongings and fled the scene on foot. This matter was reported to authorities and various resources from police, law enforcement and community safety structures were mobilised and deployed in the vicinity in an effort to bring the perpetrator to book. A search for the suspect ensued and his freedom was short-lived after he was cornered at the Dias Beach near Louis Fourie Road. The suspect was arrested and the victim's personal belongings recovered.
The man remains in police custody. He will appear in court once charged.
Investigation into this matter is still underway and more details will be divulged later.
Information on a murder in the area is untrue.
