MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Western Cape Government (WCG), Department of Environmental Affairs and Development Planning (DEA&DP), has commissioned an audit of all existing and historical access points along the Eden Coastline where the public have, are and/or still wish to access the coast.
Mossel Bay residents will be able to attend an information sharing session from 12:00 to 19:00 on Tuesday, 3 September at the D'Almeida community hall.
This initiative is in support of the Garden Route District Municipality and gives effect to the Provincial and Municipal Coastal Management Programmes as well as the Provincial Coastal Access Strategy and Plan.
The Directorate: Biodiversity and Coastal Management cordially invite interested and affected parties to participate in this initiative by providing information regarding the location and extent of such public coastal access points and by attending the public open days.
