MOSSEL BAY NEWS & VIDEO - A month ago an Antarctic Fur Seal was found at Glentana and it was only the second recorded stranding of this species along the South African Coast.
Unfortunately Sylvester, as it was named, died soon after it was taken to Bayworld in PE due to some illness.

Last week, another Antarctic Fur Seal was found at Herolds' Bay. It was rescued by S.M.A.R.T volunteers and taken care of by Dr Frans De Graaff at his Animal Hospital in Mossel Bay.
Herold, as this young male was name, was taken to Bayworld by Dr Greg Hoffmeyer on Thursday.
