Valentine's Day and romance

MOSSEL BAY NEWS - We chatted to Mossel Bay residents on Valentine's Day to ask them their thoughts about the day and if they had plans to celebrate it.

"I don't celebrate Valentine's Day. I don't know what it's about. People give explanations, but I still don't know."

"I am single, but I am romantic. I think it's fantastic to celebrate love. Some people go all-out on the day."

"I treat my wife every day as if it is Valentine's Day. I think the day is a money making thing. My wife and I put God first. We respect one another and God willing, on 21 April we will celebrate our 50th anniversary."
