SPORT NEWS - A group of Mossel Bay athletes is taking part in the SA Biathlon Championships at the Coetzenburg track and swimming pool in Stellenbosch from today, Friday 31 March, until 1 April.
A record number of athletes - 960 - are competing in the championships this year.
The Eden team comprises 87 biathletes.
The Mossel Bay competitors representing Eden are:
U15 Boys: Johan Schoeman, Marnu Meyer; U17 Girls: Melissa Kuun; U17 Boys: Etienne van Niekerk, Hanru Kuun; U19 Boys: Luke Steenkamp, Wilhelm Kuun; Senior Women: Jo-Mari Smith (had to withdraw due to injury); Masters 60+ Women: Anita Louw; Masters 70+ Men: Johan Windt.
