MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Joint Operations Centre (JOC), based at the Mossel Bay Golf Club offers an integrated platform for service delivery to boost community safety.

Since its official opening in August 2022, the centre has contributed to several successes thanks to the partnerships with other stakeholders in the community safety sector. 

One of the most useful partnerships formed pertains to aerial support provided by private persons offering their time and resources to make Mossel Bay a safer environment.

Due to the effectiveness of aerial support, the JOC seeks to engage with pilots and drone operators in possession of a valid remotely piloted aircraft operator's certificate. It is envisaged that certified pilots and drone operators will be able to assist in the community safety effort during the festive season.
