MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Life Bayview Private Hospital has given its full support to the national vaccination campaign through its vaccination site for the hospital and surrounding community. 

However, as more accessible public and private vaccination sites open up to communities, Life Bayview Private Hospital is confident that there is adequate capacity in the vicinity for this essential service to be provided for everyone to be vaccinated.

“As a result, vaccinations at this site will be discontinued with immediate effect. 

"Our focus remains on providing quality patient care and clinical excellence while being mindful of the continuing presence of the COVID-19 virus in our communities. Persons who have received only the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine at this site will be re-directed to another site, either by EVDS scheduling or as a walk-in,” said hospital spokesperson, Nancy Ekkerd.
