MOSSEL BAY ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - The programme for the Third Edition of the MosJazz Music Festival, from the 28 November to 2 December, has been announced. Some of the top artists in the country will be performing.
The MosJazz Festival is an initiative of events company, Camissa Solutions, whose portfolio of annual events includes: Jazz on the Rocks - Tietie's Bay, The Love Jazz Cruise, Die Cedarberg Kuns en Kultuur Fees - Clanwilliam and the Worcester Sunsplash (inaugural event).
All Camissa events are outdoor events, located close to water sources such as rivers, dams or the sea.
The Camissa model is premised on the foundation of building local expertise in all areas of festival design and operation. Youth skills and entrepreneurial development is a year-long activity. Already Camissa Solutions and its strategic partner, The Cape Peninsula University of Technology, have been active in many schools across the Garden Route.
The 3rd Edition of the MosJazz Festival will feature a structural engineering feat, with a bespoke stage that will be built in the sea.
"We have contracted the services of a German Structural Engineer, to design and build a stage that fits, snugly, into the De Bakke beach space. Mossel Bay is ready for the world-class production techniques that we envisaged from the outset," says Lovetta Bolters, CEO of Camissa Solutions.
