Valentine's at the Monroe
The Monroe Theatre splashes out in celebration of romantic love. Aspects of Love, sees a collaboration between storyteller and dancer Cornelle Carstens, poet Jo Leen Witbooi and vocalists and musicians, brother and sister Karin and Clayton Cupido. Movies at Monroe
On Friday, 8 February Elizabeth, focusing on England's first female monarch's early years, will be screened. Elizabeth (Kate Blanchet) was the daughter of Anne Boleyn. Next week, 15 February the Monroe Theatre screens The Lion in Winter starring Peter O'Toole and Katherine Hepburn. King Henry II's three sons all want to inherit the throne, but he won't commit to a choice. They and his wife variously plot to force him. The screening is at 18:30. Nativity soek potjiekampioen
Die Nativity-kerk in Uitbreiding 13 is op soek na Mosselbaai se potjiekoskampioenspan. Almal word uitgenooi om op 2 Maart te kom deelneem by die kerkgronde, Marlinstraat vanaf 10:00.
