RUGBY NEWS - The Springboks beat the All Blacks 33-26 in the second Test of four in Cape Town on Saturday to level the series 1-1.

Though the Boks were outscored four tries to three, Cheslin Kolbe’s excellent kicking from the tee ensured the home team got across the line.

The Boks were more clinical than last week in Joburg where they scored just one try to the five by the visitors.

There was little separating the teams in the forward exchanges with no one really getting the better of the other in the set-pieces. Both teams also played well with their backs.

The All Blacks’ tries were scored by Cam Roigard, Damian McKenzie, Leroy Carter and Ardie Savea, while the Boks scored tries through Jesse Kriel, Siya Kolisi and Damian de Allende.

Kolbe kicked three conversions and four penalties.

Ruben Love kicked three conversions only.

The All Blacks won the first Test 33-16.

Next week’s third Test is at FNB Stadium, with the fourth Test in Baltimore, USA.
