MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Eden Modern Pentathlon (MPA) athletes did exceptionally well, representing the Western Cape at the 2023 Laser Run South African Championships in Nelspruit on 24 June.
Nine Eden MPA athletes qualified to represent South Africa at the 2023 Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne (UIPM) Laser Run World Championships in Bath, England, from 19 to 21 August.
These athletes did Eden and the Western Cape proud at the Laser Run nationals in Nelspruit. Front: Keyla Douglas (gold U11 girls), Pieter Schoeman (gold U13 boys), Duné Haasbroek (bronze U15 girls), Wanru Haasbroek (gold U11 boys). Back: Johan Windt (gold masters men - 70+), Mariska Haasbroek (gold masters women - 40+), Divan Rossouw (silver junior men), Ruan Rossouw (silver U17 boys), Johan Schoeman (bronze U15 boys).
