HARTENBOS NEWS - The Southern Cape Cricket Bash recently concluded its sixth edition, with another fantastic four days of junior cricket bringing together young players from across the region.
The bash, hosted by the High Performance Future Stars (HPFS) Cricket Academy, attracted players from Mossel Bay, Hartenbos, Oudtshoorn, Joubertina, George, Knysna and even Strand.
Six U11 teams and seven U13 teams, consisting of eight players each, battled it out at Laerskool Hartenbos from 24 to 27 September.
Matches were played over 10 overs per innings, creating an exciting and fast-paced format that gave young cricketers plenty of opportunities to bat, bowl and field.
