GARDEN ROUTE ATHLETICS NEWS - Eden Modern Pentathlon athletes excelled at the Biathlon and Triathlon World Championships in Egypt from 25 to 28 October.
Johan Windt, Marcus Kleynhans and Zhané Vorster were among the top athletes.
Their results were:
Johan Windt
- Gold in Biathle mixed relay
- Gold in Triathle mixed relay
- Gold in Biathle Master 60+ men individual
- Gold in Triathle Master 60+ men individual
Marcus Kleynhans
- Gold in Triathle mixed relay U17
- 12th place in Triathle U17 individual
Zhané Vorster
- 5th place in Triathle Junior mixed relay
- 4th place in Triathle Junior individual race.
Johan Windt (Master 60+ men) qualified for the Biathle SAMPA team (A-Team).
Sonja Steyn (Master 40+ woman) qualified for the Biathle President's team (B-Team) as well as the Triathle President team (B-Team).
