Key positions in GRDM for Mossel Bay politicians
Cllr Petru Terblanche, was duly elected as the new Chief Council Whip of the Garden Route District Municipality.

MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Garden Route District Municipality's Council was in session today, 25 November for the first time to elect key leaders, after the Local Government Elections took place on 1 November 2021.

During the full Inaugural Meeting of the Garden Route District Municipal Council, Cllr Petru Terblanche, was duly elected as the new Chief Council Whip of the Garden Route District Municipality. 

Terblanche served as speaker of the Mossel Bay Municipal Council during the previous term.

Cllr Clodia Lichaba (ANC) has been appointed as the Garden Route District Municipality Public Accounts Committee (MPAC) Chairperson. During the previous council term, she held the same position.
