GREAT BRAK RIVER NEWS - Great Brak River Police are appealing to the public to assist with their search for 2 suspects in their 20s after a woman was raped in Green Haven yesterday, Sunday, 20 August.
According to the police spokesperson, Sergeant Chantel Marais, the 23-year-old woman was walking home at midnight when 2 men grabbed her in Watsonia Avenue.
Marais says that the men dragged the woman into the bushes and took turns raping her.
The victim told police that it was too dark to see the suspects’ faces.
Police took the victim to the Mossel Bay Provincial hospital where she was treated for her injuries.
