MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A man was stabbed to death, allegedly by his wife, in Asla Park, Mossel Bay, yesterday afternoon, 8 June.
KwaNonqaba Police Station spokesperson Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp said police were called to the scene in Mabolo Street at about 15:00 yesterday.
He said the man (65) had stab wounds to his chest and back and was declared dead at the scene by emergency medical services.
Kapp said it is alleged the husband was intoxicated and was starting to become violent towards his wife (60) and she then stabbed him.
The woman was arrested at the scene and is expected to appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court tomorrow, 10 June.
The names of both the husband and wife are known to Mossel Bay Advertiser. They will be published once the woman has appeared in court.
