MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay businessman and beloved community member Eddie Jenkerson (75) recently passed away, leaving a massive hole in the lives of everyone who knew him.
Jenkerson's daughter Liezl told Mossel Bay Advertiser that her father died suddenly following a heart attack while on his way to play bowls on Tuesday, 25 June.

She said heartfelt tributes and messages of condolences have flooded her and her family since his death, a testament to how well-loved and respected he was within the Mossel Bay community.
Jenkerson was the founder of F&A Airconditioning & Refrigeration which he started up in Mossel Bay in 1988, He retired from the business in 2014 but remained a consultant to the company until the day of his death.
"He formed good relationships in the town and was loved and well-respected. He was the life of the party," said Liezl.
"He was also actively involved in charities, the Saint Vincent de Paul Society and Smart Start school feeding scheme, personally aiding the start-up of soup kitchens in impoverished areas.
"He was a spiritual man and member of the St Thomas Catholic Church," she said.
She said her father is survived by his brother John, his beloved wife Kuki, his children Theresa, Liezl, and Craig, and his grandchildren, Brandon, Melissa, Carter, Enzo, and Lilyanna.
She said a private church requiem will be held this Saturday, 29 June however, a public memorial will also be held on 11 July. She said the details of the memorial are still to be confirmed.
