MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A case has been opened at the Da Gamaskop Police Station, Mossel Bay, in connection with an altercation with traffic officers, which was caught on camera and shared on social media.
The video shows two Provincial Traffic officers, who appear to be attempting to arrest a man. The man is then pulled to the ground by one of the officers.
The footage is believed to have been taken today, 27 February, on the N2 near the off-ramp to Mossel Bay at the Langeberg Mall.
At this stage, it is unclear what case has been opened and if anyone has been arrested.
The police and Provincial Traffic Mossel Bay have been asked for comment.
An update will be provided as soon as the Mossel Bay Advertiser receives more information.
