MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Iminathi Matshoba of Garden Route High School said she had not been expecting to make the school’s top three achievers for the matric exams.
Matshoba was the third highest achiever out of the school’s first intake of Grade 12s.
“It feels amazing,” she said.
When asked how she achieved her results, she said: “It is all about consistency, hard work and aiming to be number one.”
With her matric year now behind her, Matshoba said she hopes to study law, but she has not decided where just yet.
“I am extremely grateful for the support from my teachers, family and school. This achievement shows that with hard work, discipline and belief in yourself, anything is possible,” she said.
Her message to the Class of 2026: “Do not procrastinate. Work hard.”
