MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The KwaNonqaba Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after the death of a toddler last night at approximately 21:10 in Mabolo Street Kwanonqaba.
One-year-old Chloe Tarentaal accompanied a friend to a shop when she was involved in a motor vehicle accident. The driver of the vehicle did not stop at the scene of the accident scene.
Chloe and her mother were taken to the provincial hospital in a private vehicle. The hospital then informed the police that young Chloe had passed away in hospital due to head injuries presumably sustained in the accident.
The community is asked to assist the police with any information about the incident. The investigating officer is detective Sgt Ndala (044 606 5600).
