MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A 22-year-old man from Mossel Bay made his first appearance in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court today on a charge of murder in connection with an incident which took place at the weekend.

The suspect allegedly stabbed a man, also aged 22, to death in Mooney Street at around 04:00 on Saturday, 11 February.

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp, says the victim was a resident of Mooney Street in Asla Park.

Kapp says he was stabbed in the head.

The motive for the murder is not yet known.
