MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Catherine-Lee Gouws, one of Point High School's athletes, proudly represented the Eden District in the U18 team at the South African Schools Hockey Nationals at St Anne's Diocesan College in Hilton, Pietermaritzburg.
Catherine-Lee and her team celebrated a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Northern Cape on Tuesday 1 July.
She also received the Inhouse Trophy: her 'wings', a special recognition for her fast dribbling and pinpoint passes.
The Eden team continued their winning streak with a 4-0 triumph over Limpopo the next day.
