MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Scores of residents and holidaymakers gathered at the Hartenbos Seefront for the annual fireworks display to celebrate the New Year.

The display has been a staple at the Hartenbos Seefront since 2016.

Video footage captured by local Grey Stopforth shows crowds gathered at the seefront and along Hartenbos Beach eagerly awaiting the spectacular display in the minutes leading up to 1 January 2026. 

When the clock struck midnight, the fireworks were set off, showcasing another dazzling display to start off the New Year.
