Rabies
Nursing sister Ilse Wyatt Goodall spoke of the importance of rabies vaccinations in pets.
A Cape fur seal bit a dog at a beach at Hartenbos about two weeks ago and seals in the Mossel Bay area have tested positive for rabies.
An address was also given by the iOceans Investment Trust and there was input from The Skipper Foundation, which helps to prepare children for jobs in sailing and the marine industry.
Lucky draw
Afterwards there was a lucky draw.
The event was well attended and King Neptune and mermaids were in attendance because all were invited to dress up creatively according to the marine theme
