MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A case of attempted murder is being investigated by the Da Gamaskop Police following an incident that took place in Gericke Street, Voorbaai, in Mossel Bay.
Although the circumstances surrounding the matter are still being investigated, Mossel Bay Advertiser has been reliably informed that the case was opened following a suspected road rage incident at 17:00 on 3 March.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies said an attempted murder case was opened following an alleged shooting incident. He said a man was arrested in connection with the incident and a 9mm pistol and ammunition were confiscated by the police.
No one was shot during the incident.
The accused has appeared in court and was released from custody on R1 000 bail. The case was postponed to 14 May for further investigation.
Spies said the investigation is ongoing.
