Arendse grew up in Great Brak River. The next day, Saturday 1 April, there was singing, guitar playing and belly dancing at Marguerite Coffee and Art Café, next door to Mossel Bay Tourism in Market Street.
The entertainers performed from 10:00 while patrons of the café had breakfast. Singer Clayton Cupido proved so popular, he was asked to play on until the afternoon.
A MOCCA spokesperson said: "It was a lovely event and Marguerite Coffee and Art Café was a perfect venue."
