MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Cansa Relay for Life Garden Route members started their new year - 2017/18 - with a bang.

The team captains who were present at the meeting held on Tuesday, 18 July, pledged their commitment to fight cancer using a purple hand print.

They are already busy with what they do best: fundraising to better the lives of those living with cancer.

Since the inception of the Garden Route Relay for Life, the community members have been well informed and involved in the fight against cancer.

"We are inviting all survivors to contact us, because they are our VIP guests for the evening of the relay. We are striving to have at least 50 teams participating and therefore invite everybody to be part of this great event."

The relay takes place on 3 and 4 March 2018.
