MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Adrian Cairns from Mossel Bay Fire, Rescue, and Disaster Management was the first local firefighter to receive the Covid-19 vaccine at George Provincial Hospital today, 9 March.
Western Cape Department of Health arranged that members who are registered with the Health Professions Council of SA could receive the vaccine as per the national guidelines.
Mossel Bay Fire, Rescue, and Disaster Management are currently in discussions with the Department of Health on the way forward for all the other members who are willing to receive the Covid-19 vaccine.
Marshall Plaatjies, Daniel Dippenaar, and Platoon Commander Henry Bester were also vaccinated today.
