MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A farmer's market is starting at the Goods Shed in Bland Street, Mossel Bay.
The first one will be held on 19 September. The market will take place every third Saturday of the month. The Goods Shed indoor market will be open at the same time.
The farmer's market stalls will be in the parking area in front of the Goods Shed. Cars cannot park there on a Saturday. There will also be stalls on the grassy area behind the Goods Shed, where the nursery is and use will be made of an open plot which is between the Goods Shed and the Blue Shed coffee shop for more stalls.
At the farmer's market, there will be fresh produce stalls, food stalls and birds of prey to view at close range. There will also be the usual trinket and handcraft stalls which one usually finds at a market.
The farmer's market will be open from 09:00 until 14:00 and the Goods Shed indoor market, from 09:00 until 17:00. For more information on the farmer's market, contact Christo (082 496 6316).
