MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Creative Cultures Association (MOCCA) presents a beauty contest, Mr and Ms Matric 2017, as part of the build-up towards the annual Tarka Street Festival.
The objective of this contest is to afford matriculants of 2017 another opportunity to showcase their matric dance dresses.
Matrics from all local schools are invited to enter the competition as couples (boy and girl).
Because the competition is the first of its kind entries will be limited to the first 40 successful entries.
The event takes place on 15 December from 13:30 to 16:30 at the Lutheran Church Hall, Extension 6.
The entry fee is R120 per couple.
Entry forms are available and can be collected at the Arts & Craft Workshop, 3 Market Street, Mossel Bay CBD, behind the Bayside Shopping Centre.
Attractive prizes are up for grabs. DVD recordings will be made of the event and sold at a minimal price afterwards.
