MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A young, unemployed man from Mossel Bay, Bradley Michaels, decided to work at his talent to make ends meet and to be able to care for his family.
The result is interesting art being exhibited at the Craft Art Workshop on Market Street, where he rents space to showcase his work.
The art depicts everyday life in Mossel Bay, with an interesting flair.
The work tells the stories of life in the townships with a unique take on culture and tradition.
It also depicts humour and character typical of Africa. Michaels uses renewable material in interesting ways to give depth and dimension to his art.
His art is also available in several formats, from fridge magnets, batiks, and handmade cards to lifesize versions of his subjects.
The Craft Art Workshop is open seven days a week and is worth a visit, especially if you are looking for that ever elusive Christmas present.
