MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The long arm of the Mossel Bay law reached Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape when KwaNonqaba ace detective Wo Geoffery Moos and the KwaNonqaba tracing team travelled there to arrest a suspect in a double murder case.
On 2 December at 03:30 last year two suspects attacked a group of men in Scholtz Street, KwaNonqaba. Two victims suffered gunshot wounds and another was stabbed with a sharp object. One of the gunshot victims, Ludwe Tonisi Modalane, died. Siyabonga Sokhaba, who was stabbed, also later died of his wounds. The other gunshot victim survived.
After following up on information received, Wo Moos and the tracing team traced one suspect to Lusikisiki. They arrested him on 20 June.
The suspect has since appeared in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on two charges of murder and one of attempted murder.
