MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Crawlers & Crowns beauty pageant owner and talent scout Karen Gray held a Valentine's pageant in February.
It was a platform to create awareness of her plan to build an animal shelter.
Karen has been offered land outside Mossel Bay in the direction of Ruiterbos, to build the shelter.
Entrants in the Valentine's pageant had to donate pet food as part of the pageant. This Karen has donated for pets in needy communities in the Mossel Bay area. Karen has often supported animal welfare organisations in the past through collecting pet food via her beauty pageants and charity projects.

She is also the founder of the Anti-Bullying Academy NPO, which aims to assist those being bullied and bullies themselves, so that bullies can change their behaviour. Anti-bullying weekend camps will be held at the Ubuntu Wildlife Sanctuary on the way to Oudtshoorn. People are welcome to book to attend a camp.
