MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The South Cape TVET College is excited to announce the seven new qualifications which will form part of their offerings to the community as from 2018.
The first of these offerings are two programmes which the college will be offering in partnership with UNISA.
The College realised the need in communities for a B.Ed Foundation Phase Degree: Grade R to Grade 3 and the Level 5 Higher Certificate: Adult Basic Education and Training.
These courses will be offered as full-time courses at the Oudtshoorn, George and Mossel Bay campuses.
For those students who passed Grade 12 there will also be four new National N-Diploma courses available.
These courses consist of 18 months' theory, after which the student will have to complete 18 months' relevant workplace experience.
After the 18 months' practical component has been completed the student can apply for a National N-Diploma.
The George campus will offer a new Diploma in Financial Management and the Mossel Bay campus will take its first group for the Diploma in Public Management.
In order to assist those interested in administrative work in the legal or medical field, the college decided to introduce two new secretarial courses: Medical Secretary and Legal Secretary.
These courses will be offered at the Oudtshoorn, Mossel Bay and George campuses.
The Mossel Bay Campus will also introduce a new N1 to N3 course in Water and Waste Water Treatment.
All campuses are open for applications for 2018.
All interested students are urged to make their way to their nearest campus as soon as possible in order to avoid disappointment. Space is extremely limited for all the new programmes on offer.
