MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The leader of the Plaaslike Besorgde Inwoners (PBI), Virgill Gericke, and a number of party supporters gathered at the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, 3 July, where a farmer from the Herbertsdale area appeared on a charge of crimen injuria.
The case, heard by relief magistrate Piet Venter, was remanded for trial to 25 July.
The state prosecutor was Heidi Cornelius.
Gericke said they condemned the use of derogatory language.
Gericke told the Mossel Bay Home Ads News that offences such as what this farmer was accused of, could not be tolerated, as they were often the cause of farm murders in South Africa.
