MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND VIDEO - Veteran community leader and stalwart Councillor Niklaas Booisen was given the honorary title of alderman during the monthly council meeting held today, Thursday, 26 August.

Municipal honours are awarded in strict accordance with a regulated process. Alderman Niklaas Booisen is well-deserving of this title after complying with all the relevant requirements.

Acting Executive Mayor Alderman Dirk Kotzé thanked Alderman Booisen for his exemplary community spiritedness and for the work he does so diligently in serving his community.
