MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The first ever Husqvarna Blow-Blow competition in South Africa is scheduled for Saturday, 4 November from 14:00 at the ATKV Pretpark Putt-Putt adventure course at the Hartenbos Seefront.
This exciting competition, where teams of three will use the Husqvarna garden blowers to sink the ball into the hole, will be in the form of an American Scramble and all the proceeds will go to Cansa Relay For Life Mossel Bay.
The Blow-Blow competition will form part of the annual Cansa Relay For Life (RFL) Mossel Bay 2017.
It is the ninth year that the RFL will take place, but the first to be staged at the new Hartenbos Seefront.
According to Gert Rautenbach from TopSaw, this is the most fun anyone can dream of.
A team consists of three players and you choose your putter (a Husqvarna blower) and you blow the ball into the hole.
Deflecting boards will also be issued to make sure the balls are not blown into the ocean.
The first ever Blow-Blow competition was held in Pennsylvania in the United States of America. It was also in aid of cancer.
Rautenbach also says that it is an excellent team building exercise and at R160 per team, it is a steal.
