BUSINESS NEWS - Receiving the Best of Mossel Bay Award for the third consecutive year is an honour that fills all of us at Joan's Florist with immense pride and gratitude. 

This recognition is far more than an award - it is a reflection of the incredible support, loyalty and trust that the people of Mossel Bay have shown our business over many decades.

For more than 50 years, Joan's Florist has had the privilege of sharing in the special moments of our community's lives. 

From celebrating birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and new beginnings to expressing sympathy and comfort during difficult times, we have always considered it a privilege to help our customers express their emotions through the beauty of flowers.

This milestone would not have been possible without the strong foundation laid by two remarkable women. We would like to pay special tribute to Joan Gerber, who founded Joan's Florist with passion, dedication and a vision for excellence, and to Lucretia van Rensburg, who continued to build on that legacy with the same commitment to quality, creativity and personal service. 

Their hard work and devotion established the reputation that Joan's Florist proudly enjoys today, and we are honoured to continue their legacy.

To our loyal customers, thank you for believing in us, recommending us to your family and friends, and allowing us to be part of your lives for more than half a century. Your continued support has enabled Joan's Florist to flourish through changing times, and this award truly belongs to every one of you.

A very special word of appreciation goes to our dedicated staff, whose hard work, professionalism and commitment make Joan's Florist what it is today. Under the capable leadership of Suna van Greunen, our team consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that every customer receives exceptional service and beautifully crafted floral arrangements.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the management of Garden Walk Mall for allowing Joan's Florist to operate a pop-up store in the centre. 

We are delighted to continue serving our customers there until the end of September 2026, and we sincerely thank the mall management and its shoppers for the wonderful support and warm welcome we have received throughout this opportunity.

As our time at Garden Walk Mall comes to a close at the end of September, we would like to remind our valued customers that Joan's Florist will continue to operate from our store in Marsh Street, Mossel Bay.
