"Stop using dangerous illegal electrical connections; take them down." These were the words of a KwaNonqaba community leader, who wishes to be known only by his first name, Tulani. He implored residents of informal settlements in KwaNonqaba not to use the connections. On Tuesday, approximately 300 dwellings in three informal settlements in Mossel Bay were legally connected to the electricity grid.
