MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Much-loved local concert pianist Olive Sandilands joins forces with renowned musicians, cellist Susan Mouton and violinist Miroslav Chakaryan, for a studio concert in Sandilands' Mossel Bay home on 19 August.
Mouton is currently principal cellist of the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra (JPO).
In addition to her orchestral playing, she is active as a chamber musician and frequently asked to examine students for Unisa.
During the past few years, she has also been involved in numerous productions with the well-known singer, Jannie du Toit.
Chakaryan is currently the concert master of the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra and is involved in chamber music and solo performances. The trio will be performing music by Haydn, Kreisler, Saint-Saens, Glinka and Piazzolla. For more information, contact Olive Sandilands (083 269 7497).
