MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The KwaNonqaba community and family and friends are mourning the death of Zola Tukani, a member of the Uncedo Taxi Association.
Tukani's cousin, Lunga Mkhalakahla, spoke to Mossel Bay Advertiser on behalf of Tukani's family.
"Zola was sick for a few months before his passing. He was a very understandable person and he liked to cry when he was upset."
According to Mkhalakahla, Tukani spent a lot of his life transporting school children of Mossel Bay to and from various areas in KwaNonqaba.
He was also the former general secretory of Uncedo.
Aside from his career in the taxi industry, Tukani was also the coach for Taxi Rangers, a football club for taxi drivers.
A celebration of life ceremony was held on 14 August at Imekhaya Primary School, and Tukani's funeral will be in Alice, in the Eastern Cape, on 24 August.
