MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Three teenagers had to be helped to safety when they were stranded on rocks, owing to a high tide at the Poort swimming spot at The Point, Mossel Bay, this afternoon, 18 September.
A representative for By Grace Emergency Medical Service said National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) members were dispatched at 15:41 to the low water bridge at The Poort, which is at the Mossel Bay Zipline landing platform.
The representative said By Grace as well as members of Mossel Bay Fire, Rescue and Disaster Management Services went to assist.
He said the three boys were brought to safety and were not injured.
