MOSSEL BAY NEWS - We all know about Santa Claus, but not much is said about Mrs Claus. Gemini Model and Talent Agency in Mossel Bay ran a competition to crown a "Mother Christmas" during the festive season.
It was won by Annetjie Koekemoer of Mossel Bay.
One of her prizes was a certificate, showing she was married to Santa.
Gemini Agency owner Frieda van der Walt was one of the witnesses of the marriage.
Mistakes on marriage certificates do happen, even on the North Pole, where the union took place.
It reads Pool, not Pole, on the certificate. Those who drew up the certificate must have had a swimming pool on their minds, not the North Pole, during the heat over Christmas in Mossel Bay.
