MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Harry Giddey Park will be closed to the public from Tuesday, 10 October, for tree-felling operations.
Two blue gum trees must be removed since they threaten the public.
Large branches that fell from these two trees have caused substantial damage to infrastructure in the park and it has therefore been deemed in the interest of public safety to remove the trees.
The park will be re-opened as soon as the work has been completed and the area declared safe for public use.
