MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The gracious sail of MSC Sinfonia into Mossel Bay, the Garden Route’s Adventure Capital on 17 December 2022 has officially launched the Port of Mossel Bay’s 2022/23 cruise season.
The 20-year-old cruise liner owned and operated by the Italy-based MSC Cruises and currently sailing under the flag of Panama is one of approximately 20 cruise liners which are set to visit Mossel Bay in the 2022/23 Financial year.
Port of Mossel Bay’s Port Manager, Dineo Mazibuko says: “The port should be optimistic about growth opportunities within the Cruise Tourism Sector over the next few years driven by the appealing and unique multiple destinations and offerings that should be explored in the region."
Highlights to look forward to this season include the Norwegian Jade, Seven Seas Voyager, Hanseatic Spirit and Nautica. The port also will also be welcoming for the first time some of the most popular and largest cruise ships as well as maiden voyages by Island Sky and Insignia.
